Starting off with broken grandfather clocks in a room of short-sighted creatures that fluctuate between fear and sloth envy being front and center on the minds of those who fight their urges to dance with shaking hearts on their wrists which happens to be where you can feel the pulse of three dozen floating dragonflies that hum to violins in the distance and whisper my, your, our secrets into sporadic winds traveling from where you fell in love to where you fell apart that one night you wore the glowing red dress that spills your sins like children spill coffee in the sunlight that shines across the room illuminating radical sparkles disguised as dust drifting through silent oceans of tension and release in our room that smells like you and us and the things we do best like holding moments in our anxious fingertips that glide across the toes of insanity and flutter in the belly of restlessness causes me to break free into the stars that tangle in my hair when I miss you solitude appears overrated like the clove cigarettes in his pocket where he also keeps a story book of nonfictitious tales about how to breathe in like the wavering currents that pull my exasperated soul from my own clutches, frantically singing while leaving cracked lips sleepy with beauty and I can't find the adjectives to weave these slipping thoughts into a spiritual release.
